Just a short note to thank you, DataMC – Data Migration Consultants Pty Ltd and the team on getting MidCoast Council across the line with ECM Data Migration.

From that first phone call in ~ August last year, through the main go-live in December and Phases 2a & 2b, it’s been an interesting ride.

Four systems into one. Vastly different source systems. Running in parallel with a P&R implementation. (and other issues too numerous to mention). All with hard deadlines.

I cannot speak highly enough of the professionalism, persistence and calm in which Evan and Beth approached this work.

I have seen some good migrations and some very bad ones. I think this effort is certainly the best I’ve seen.

Please pass on our sincere thanks to Beth and Evan. They are an asset to your organisation. I’ve really enjoyed working with them and learned so much from them.

I just wanted to take this opportunity to provide some feedback on Craig.  We have all been very impressed with his technical skills and how quickly he has understood our data and helped the team to build the migration process.  But equally, his calm demeanour and ability to simplify complex problems has been key to us.  When the team has been nervous Craig has been able to quickly provide options.  When we have been pushed for time Craig has put in the extra hours to keep us on track.

I’ve completed a lot of projects in my career and this is the first time where we have outsourced data migration.  The experience has been such a positive one that I will definitely be keeping this as an option going forward.
